Incentives & wage subsidies
Your business could access up to $10,000 in wage subsidies when hiring an eligible My Pathway job seeker. As your workforce solutions partner, we’ll help you to access the most suitable wage subsidy and guide you through the application process to secure the right employee for your business.
Government funding is also available to eligible businesses looking at activating an apprenticeship and/or traineeship or to trial an eligible young worker. Additional incentives to help with the cost of recruiting new employees may also include transportation costs to and from work and the cost of tools, clothing and equipment. Is my business eligible for a wage subsidy?
- You have an Australian Business Number
- You have not previously received a wage subsidy for the same person
- You are not an Australian, state or territory government agency
- The person you hire meets eligibility requirements
- The position you offer is expected to be ongoing and for 20 hours or more per week, averaged over the six months of the wage subsidy agreement
- The work complies with national employment standards
